Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 490 fresh cases of COVID19 in the country.

The centre announced this on Sunday night in a tweet noting that the country has 24,567 confirmed COVID-19 with 9,007 patients discharged after testing negative twice.

The tweet said 20 states including the FCT accounted for the new infections, they are 118 in Lagos 84 in Delta, 68 in Ebonyi 56 in FCT 39 in Plateau 29 in Edo 21 in Katsina, 13 in Imo, 12 in Ondo, 11 in Adamawa, 8 in Osun and Ogun State.

Others include 6 in Rivers, 5 in Kano, 3 in Enugu, Bauchi and Akwa Ibom, 1 each in KOGI, Oyo and Bayelsa State.

DANDAL KURA RADIO reports that 565 deaths have been recorded.
