The Nigeria customs service has generated N78.78million in six month in Borno and Yobe States despite the Boko Haram insurgency that closed down 10 border stations with Niger, Chad and Cameroon.

The functional border stations of Gamboru, Bama-Banki and Gaidam only render skeletal services due to terrorists activities in two state.

The area command controller Angbalaga Joshua disclosed this in Maiduguri while giving journalists update on the first half of the year.

He said this is about 60% of their target for the year adding the command made lot seizures during the period under review.
