Nigerian Army to Identify, Arrest Perpetrators of Killings in Adamawa, Benue and Taraba

Following the increasing spate of killings in Adamawa, Benue and Taraba States, the Nigerian Army says it would soon identify and arrest perpetuators of such heinous crimes, including government functionaries sponsoring such killings.
The Director of Army Public Relations, Brig Gen Texas Chukwu, said in Abuja that the commanders controlling military troops in Adamawa, Benue and Taraba States have also been tasked to take action against the killings or be court martial.
He stated that the Army would like to unequivocally reiterate that arsonists and the killers should stop or face decisive action by troops.
Rules of Engagement he said is clear on arson and murder, therefore, no such criminal acts would be allowed in any of the aforementioned states.
