Borno State Government And Japanese Government To Build 300 Houses In Mafa

Borno State government in partnership with Japanese government is constructing 300 houses for 300 households in Nguwom Mafa local government area of the State.

Governor Kashim Shettima who visited the construction site to see the progress of the work, stressed that State government through the ministry for RRR is to construct 150 houses while the Japanese government will also build 150.

The Memorandum of Understanding according to the commissioner for RRR Professor Babagana Umara also include primary school and market stalls among others adding when completed the estate will improve the lives of the community

Governor Shettima commended the quality of work and enjoined the commissioner to create space between the buildings for expansion.
